Basil Pesto

How to make fresh basil pesto in a food processor.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup toasted pinenuts

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in food processor bowl, and process until smooth.
  2. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks,or freeze in small batches to use later.
