How to make fresh basil pesto in a food processor.
- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup toasted pinenuts
- Place all ingredients in food processor bowl, and process until smooth.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks,or freeze in small batches to use later.
