Try reheating steak in the air fryer for perfectly reheated steak every time! The air fryer's circulating hot air technology recreates the crisp exterior and juicy interior of a freshly grilled steak in just minutes.
Give the steak a light spray or brush with olive oil.
Preheat air fryer to 380°F/ 190°C for 2-3 minutes.
Place leftover steak in the air fryer basket. If you are cooking more than one ensure they are not touching [Note 1].
Air fry leftover steak at 380°F/ 190°C for 2-3 minute intervals. After each interval, check the internal temperature, flip the steak over, and continue reheating until the steak reaches at least 110°F/ 43°C in the center of the thickest part [Note 2].
Notes
Reheat steak in batches if necessary. Reheat leftover steaks that are of similar thickness together. Steak thickness is the main factor that affects how long they take to reheat, so this will help to prevent some steaks becoming overcooked before others have warmed through.
Use an instant-read meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.
