medium banana

soft brown sugar

light olive oil [Note 1]

milk
plant-based or dairy

all-purpose flour

Instructions
Slice the banana into the mug and mash with a fork until smooth.
Add the sugar, oil and milk to the mug and stir to combine.
Mix the flour and baking soda together, then add to the mug, and mix well.
Cook banana cake in microwave on high for 3 minutes (you may need to adjust the time slightly up or down depending on your microwave's power).
Top with ice-cream, and eat straight from the mug.
Notes
Or use vegetable oil, avocado oil, melted butter, or another cooking oil with a neutral flavor.
