Ingredients
3tablespoonolive oil
4clovesgarliccrushed
3onionsfinely chopped
2lb1kg ground beef
2carrotsfinely shredded
3cans crushed tomatoes
4tablespoonstomato paste
1tablespoonmixed herbs
1tablespoontomato ketchup
Instructions
Switch on slow cooker and add olive oil, onions and garlic. Place lid on slow cooker.
When the slow cooker has heated up and the onions are translucent, add the ground beef and break into small pieces using a wooden spoon. Replace the lid, and allow the meat to cook for ten minutes while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
Add the other ingredients to the slow cooker, and stir, again breaking up any large lumps of mince.
Cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 8 hours.
Serve over spaghetti and sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
