Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 380°F / 190°C.
Mix oil, salt, rosemary, and thyme on a plate.
Pat the beef tenderloin dry with paper towels, then roll in the oil-seasoning mix until well coated.
Place beef tenderloin in the air fryer basket.
Air fry tenderloin for 15-20 minutes (for medium) [Note 1]. Cook for additional 5-minute intervals if you prefer it more well done.
Remove beef tenderloin from air fryer, cover with kitchen foil and leave to rest for at least five minutes before serving.
Carve the beef tenderloin thinly against the grain to serve.
Notes
Monitor the temperature with an instant read meat thermometer towards the end of the cooking time to ensure that it is cooked to your liking:
Rare 125°F/ 52°C
Medium rare: 135°F/ 57°C
Medium: 145°F/ 63°C
Medium-well: 150°F/ 66°C
Well done: 160°F/ 71°C
