These homemade air fryer pizza scrolls make an easy lunch or snack, and are great for lunchboxes! They are quick to prepare using pre-made dough, and are so quick to cook in the air fryer they will be done in less time than your oven would take to heat up!
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface into a rough rectangle shape (approx. 14×10 inches/ 35x25 cm).
Spread the pizza sauce out thinly over the dough, leave a strip along the bottom edge that is free of sauce.
Add shredded cheese and the prepared toppings.
Starting with the top edge, roll the dough up into a sausage shape with the pizza roll filling inside.
Preheat air fryer to 320°F/ 160°C.
Use a sharp knife to cut the dough roll into 12 equal-sized slices (1-1½ inches thick).
Place pizza roll slices on a small cookie sheet or piece of baking parchment [Note 1] to stop the cheese from sticking. You may need to cook them in batches depending on how many will fit in your air fryer.
Air fry pizza rolls at 320°F/160°C for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from air fryer and place on a wire rack to cool. Once cooled, store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
Notes
Note: some air fryer brands do not recommend using parchment, so check your manual if you are unsure).
