Air Fryer Steak Bites Recipe (with or without mushrooms)
These irresistible air fried steak bites are juicy, savory and ready in around 15 minutes. They are simple to prepare and quick to cook in the air fryer, and are perfect for an easy dinner, quick appetizer, or hearty snack.
Cut the steak into cubes approximately 1-inch/ 2cm square, pat dry, and place in a bowl. If using mushrooms, cut them into 1 inch sized pieces and add to the bowl.
Drizzle the steak cubes and mushrooms with oil, then add the salt, pepper and garlic powder. Gently toss to coat.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F/ 200°C.
Place the seasoned steak bites in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 400°F/ 200°C for 5-12 minutes until done to your liking [Note 2]. Shake the basket or gently flip the steak cubes with tongs once during cooking to ensure they cook evenly.
