Air Fryer Donut Holes

These cinnamon-flavored air-fried donut holes are for a perfect weekend treat! 5 ingredients, 10 minutes to make, and so tasty they’ll disappear quicker than you can make them.

Just 5 Ingredients

These donut bites are made using pizza dough. You can grab some premade from the store, or use my go-to 3-ingredient pizza dough made with Greek yogurt. For an even quicker shortcut, you can use Pillsbury Grands biscuit dough.

You’ll also need some butter, sugar, and cinnamon to roll them on when they’re cooked.

Then 5(ish) minutes in the air fryer

Cut the dough into pieces and roll into balls (or cut them carefully into little wedges and skip the rolling). Then brush them lightly with oil before popping them in the air fryer.

The time to cook will vary a bit depending on what air fryer you have, but they should take between 5 and 10 minutes to cook. When they are done, they will be puffed up and golden brown on the outside.

While they are cooking, melt the butter in the microwave (30-second bursts until melted), and mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a large bowl.

Then, simply dip the donut balls into the melted butter, then roll them in the cinnamon sugar before serving. Delicious!

Tips

  1. Make sure your dough balls are evenly sized for consistent cooking.
  2. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure they cook evenly -cook in batches if necessary.
  3. Keep an eye on the donut holes during the last minute of cooking. Air fryers can vary in temperature, and they are easy to overcook.
  4. They are best served fresh.
