It is so easy to make brown rice in an Instant Pot. Cooking brown rice on the stovetop can be difficult and result in gummy rice that sticks together. But since I have started making brown rice in my Instant Pot it has been perfect every time, and couldn’t be easier!
- 2 cups brown rice
- 2.5 cups water
- Add 2 cups brown rice and 2.5 cups water to the Instant Pot inner pot. Ensure that no grains remain stuck to the edge of the pot.
- Close and lock the lid of the Instant Pot.
- Set Instant Pot to pressure cook for 22 minutes,by pressing ‘pressure cook’, and selecting 22 minutes with the ‘-‘ button.
- When the time is up, allow the Instant Pot to depressurize naturally for 10 minutes (with “Keep Warm” function), then open the Instant Pot by pressing “Cancel” and turning the steam release knob to the venting position.
